The answer is yes.
Never mind the sophisticated weapons owned by Saudi Arabia, their Armed Forces are pretty much useless.
Now look at the logistics. How would such Forces unite? The countries don’t trust each other!
Suppose they did unite.
They would be attacking via, Jordan, the Golan and the Sinai.
In the very first day, IAF would destroy the Syrian Air Force. in the second day, Saudi Air Force and other Gulf Air Forces.
Jordan and Iraq have very small Air Forces.
Logistics:
Every
single sip of water their soldiers would need would have to be supplied
from the home country. Same for food, fuel and ammunition. Now imagine
all these supply convoys making their way thru deserts with no air
coverage. Have you ever seen what happens when an aircraft strafes such a
convoy, concentrating on fuel tankers?. Have you ever seen what happens
when the same aircraft hits the first tank transporter and it overturns
and blocks the way? All the convoy just becomes a row of sitting ducks.
Tactics:
Jordan
does not have enough water for home consumption and gets some of its
water from Israel. Israel would just have to close the fawcet and the
people of Jordan would not have enough water for their own consumption,
let alone for the armies marching thru its territory. The King of Jordan
would not survive such an invasion by other Arab countries. Scratch out
Jordan.
The Golan
is a very small area. The forces moving there would just step into each
other’s toes. The targets on ground would be so densely packed that any
simple bomb would be a weapon of “ mass destruction “.
The
Sinai is a desert, no water and few passable areas. Still, being in
their home turf, the Egyptians would have it easiest of all. So let’s
look at their Forces. In their fight against terrorists in the Sinai,
Egypt often asks for the Israeli Air Force support, both for intel and
for target bombing. Think why they do this and then consider what would
happen to their Air Force if they did attack Israel.
All
the Arab Forces attacking Israel would start without air support or
loose such support in a couple of days. Then, all the supplies on the
way would just be bombed by the IAF at its convenience.
How long will any soldier fight with no water, food fuel and ammunition?
