Favour is not based on any empirical principle; instead it is subjective. It makes things happen. It can bring victory, safety and deliverance. When things work effortlessly for you it implies there is a favour factor behind the scene.

Favour is a force; and by its nature, it is crucial and powerful. Therefore, it calls for a thoughtful consideration and an in-depth learning. Favour is more important than talent and beauty. It is also more important than education. Truly, talent, beauty and education can move you up on life’s ladder of success, but favour can speed you up. If you enjoy human kindness it is called favour; if it’s God’s, it is called Divine Favour.

Favour has a modus operandi. Understanding this will help you harness the forces and benefits of divine favor. Sometimes when you pray, warfare engagement may be needless, rather a request for divine favour may be quintessential. Friend, you can be favoured or disfavoured; because there exist forces that work against or destroy favour in people’s lives. I pray you will not be a victim of disfavour in Jesus name. Amen.

Favour is not based on any empirical principle; instead it is subjective. It makes things happen. It can bring victory, safety and deliverance. When things work effortlessly for you it implies there is a favour factor behind the scene.

Dan 1:8-9
8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

What is favour?

It is a divine influence exacted upon the heart with a physical manifestation upon your life. It is a spiritual essence and forceful in nature making people work for you.

Pro 16:7 When a man’s ways please Jehovah, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Thoughts on Favour:

1.     Favour can be obtained, Luk 1:26-29, Esther 2:15.

2.     God can favour a whole nation, Exo 11:3.

3.     A whole nation can come under disfavour, Exo 12:36

4.     Divine favour gives life, Psa 30:5.

5.     You can grow in favour, Luk 2:52.

What brings favour into operation?

1.     By election. God chooses whom to favour, Deut 9:5, Psa 44:3  For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

2.     By vision and dreams. God’s given vision and dreams attracts favour, Gen 39:2-4 & 21.

3.     By living right, Pro 14:9, Psa 5:12.

4.     By showing favour to other people, Pro 11:27, 12:2.

5.     By listening to the instructions of wisdom, Pro 8:35, 13:15

6.     By finding a good wife or husband, Pro 18:22, 19:14.

What works against favour?

1.     Curse, Deut 28:50.

2.     Sin, Pro 14:9, Isa 59:1-2.

3.     Disobedience to God.

4.     Time (past or elapsed time).

Three things to activate the force of favour

1.     Ask for it, Mat 7:7 Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you.

2.     Have a dram or a vision for your life.

3.     Fasting and prayers.

Conclusion

Favour can make you accepted in the face of rejection. It can qualify you for special honours. Favour can grow and diminish. When where is no favour, it is possible for life’s effort to be dissipated. May you be God’s chosen for divine favour this season in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.

Walking in Divine favour

Favour is an act of kindness performed or granted out of goodwill. it is preferential treatment shown to somebody. When a man finds favour in the sight of God, that man will cease to struggle for anything he desires. All that he can ever ask for or imagine will be granted to him, not because he deserves it, but because he has found favour. The person operating under favour may not be qualified for blessing, but he gets blessed all the same simply because he has obtained favour.

Give you Tithes and Offerings to be richly Blessed and for Expansion of God's Work
In this study, I will be revealing ten factors that can activate divine favour in a man’s life. I must however let you know that the underlying factor that covers all the factors we will be talking about in this study is the consciousness of God’s presence. Anything that is done outside this consciousness is carnal and has no reward. We have been blessed by God with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Eph 1:3. Although this blessing is there already, it can only operate in the consciousness of God’s presence. Consciousness of God’s presence is what creates the right climatology for being blessed. Everything God created thrives in its given ecology. Outside the pre-ordered geography or ecology, the organism will struggle and may even die without reaching its full potential. Our ecology as sons of God is heavenly places. We thrive when we dwell perpetually in heavenly places. Heaven is not a geographic location, but is a place where God dwells. The presence of God is thus the factor that gives heaven its name. Those that will enjoy divine favour are those that are sitted together with Christ in the heavenly places. Until your mind begins to picture heaven at all time, you are sitted outside the heavenly and so will still not enjoy divine favour. Form the presence of God there is fullness of joy, at His right hand are pleasures for evermore. You enjoy this fullness of joy and perpetual pleasures by favour, and the primary qualification for this divine favour is dwelling constantly in the consciousness of God’s presence.
In this volume of the Divine Intimacy bulletin, we will take a look at five factors that activate favour in a man’s life, and in next week’s issue we will take the concluding five factors.
SALVATION This is the primary factor that can activate favour. Salvation is deliverance from sin and the consequences of sin through Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. It is a free gift to all of mankind and anyone who accepts this gift becomes born  again and becomes transformed from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. The Bible says in 2Cor. 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are becomes new. The man that is saved thus becomes a brand new man. His past is forgotten and he begins a brand new life right from the day of his salvation. Once you become born again, favour automatically rests on you. Favour is a birthright of children of the kingdom and so your acceptance of salvation is also an acceptance of favour.

Acts 2:41, 47: Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
We see in the scripture above that those who believed the gospel and became saved found favour with all people. You begin to enjoy favour from both men and women when you accept God’s free offer of salvation, If you want to begin to enjoy favour from God and from man, then you must take this all important step today. Salvation attracts favour.
MERCY: Mercy is compassion, kindness or forgiveness shown especially to somebody  a person has power over. When you are merciful i.e. show mercy to people, favour will locate you. You will enjoy favour from men also enjoy divine favour. When you pardon a guilty person, you have shown mercy and have qualified yourself for favour.
Prov. 3:34: Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine head: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
When you are merciless and heartless, you will not find favour. Being merciful helps you to find favour even when others cannot find it.
TRUTH: Truth is living a life of honesty and sincerity. Favour is attracted to those that are always truthful. When you stand for the truth at all time, the truth will certainly set you free at the end. It may look like you are in trouble at the beginning, but before the end of the episode, favour will speak out on your behalf. Telling the truth at all times activates both human and divine favour in your life.
Prov. 3:3-4: Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine head: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Make up your mind to always be truthful. Your resolve should be that you would rather die telling the truth than become caught up in a web of lies and deceit. The devil is the father of all liars and all liars shall have their part in the lake of fire. You  speak truth always, you will certainly live a life of favour.
GOODNESS This is the quality of being good. It is the quality of having or showing a kind and generous disposition. Being good to people is yet another factor that can activate favour. When you are good, you find favour everywhere you go, even in the most unlikely quarters. People will favour you even if you don’t have a personal relationship with them.
Prov. 11:21: He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour:  but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
Your goodness is a currency for procuring favour. When you are good to people around you, favour will be handed over to you.
Prov. 12:2: A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

Sow Your Special Seed of Faith for Miracles you want From God in Your life
When you are in the habit of showing goodness to everyone around you, even to those who don’t deserve it, then you will be qualified for favour that comes from God.
CORRECT MARRIAGE: The bible says in Prov. 18:22: Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
As long as a person is unmarried, there is a limit to what he can achieve in life. He will certainly not get to his full potential. God that Instituted marriage in the Garden of Eden did so because He realized that it was not good for man to be alone Gen. 2:18. Woman was therefore made to complement man’s effort. Finding and marrying the right partner is therefore a ticket to living a life of favour. Right from the day the two people become one, God smiles on them and they begin to achieve results with minimal effort.

You must take note however that not all marriages are correct ones. If God does not sanction your marriage, then you will be making terrible mistakes by going into it.  Such a marriage will end in bitterness and regret no matter how appealing it looks at the beginning. When you are married to someone who is not a carrier of favour, you will be dis-favoured. May you not step into a matrimonial relationship that will separate you from the favour of the Lord.

Thanks and remain blessed as you decide today to have true repentance and change of heart for your good.

Why Fellowship Is Critical To Life of A Christian

A creative God formed man of dust to remind him of his humble origins. Man is not a god. He did not form himself. He is not an evolved being. God put the dust together and breathed life into the dust: "Man became a living soul" (Genesis 2:7).

The purpose of man was for the pleasure of God. The infinite God created a finite being with whom he could fellowship. God who had made male and female species saw that man would not be complete without a partner.

Give you Tithes and Offerings to be richly Blessed and for Expansion of God's Work

God created woman: "And the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him’" (Genesis 2:18). He made the man and woman similar in size and features, but with distinctions making possible procreation of new life.

Genesis 3:1: "And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived and bare Cain, and said, ‘I have gotten a man from the Lord.’"

Two deductions can be made from this verse. First, Adam and Eve recognized that the child was a divine gift of God and belonged to God. Second, coming from their own bodies and dependent upon them for sustenance of life, the birth of the child made them a family, a social unit.

Build A Covenant Place of Worship For that God that Delivered you from those Problems

Romans 14:7,8: "For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s."

Again Romans reminds us that we are social beings that need fellowship and are accountable to God in life and in death.

The Church belongs to Jesus. He founded it. He is the architect. He is the Builder. He is the Redeemer. He is the King coming for a "glorious church without stain or wrinkle" (Ephesians 5:27).

In the divine architectural design of His Church Jesus required the gathering of the Saints. He knew they need each other. He knew that in creation man and woman only thrive in a social context. He predicated a functional design that could only be maximized when the children of God gather together in worship.

Why build a building? There is no command of Jesus to build a building. In Exodus God told Moses what and how to build the Tabernacle in the Wilderness of Sinai as a place where He (God) could dwell among His people. In the New Testament Jesus made clear that the Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of believers. Sow Your Special Seed of Faith for Miracles you want From God in Your life

In the Old Testament there were synagogues in communities for worship and teaching. And there was the Temple in Jerusalem. After Jesus’ Ascension Christian congregations desired a place to worship. Archeological records affirm church buildings in early centuries A.D.

Why do we build a building? Why do we sacrifice to provide a place of worship?

We are social. We are Christians. Togetherness encourages us. It is life-giving. We rejoice in the presence of other believers who share our common faith in Jesus Christ. We delight in hearing testimonies of how God has proved Himself victorious in the lives of others.

We understand that in heaven we will be in holy fellowship. We understand we are community.

Our church building on Rio Road is a blessing. We are strategically located in one of the best places in our city. We are on a main road with high visibility. We have excellent parking. We have beautiful and gracious facilities.

We serve not only our own congregation but our community. Many other Christian groups and churches enjoy use of our buildings. It is difficult to imagine a day when the doors are not open for a group or the congregation.

In our love for being together, former infants in our nursery are now grown and living powerful lives for Jesus Christ. Missionaries, medical doctors, teachers, farmers, mechanics, engineers, nurses, preachers, educators, et al, and godly parents have been fashioned in the fellowship and discipleship of Covenant Church.

Our highest moments of celebration of life in Christ are in community, in worship and service to Our God!

FINISH of the building is most exciting because it will give to us greater possibilities of corporate worship and fellowship! In community we offer “My Utmost for His Highest” (Oswald Chambers), a classic Christian work speaking to why God created us.

Let us go forward with holy boldness knowing that what we are doing is righteous and eternal!

(Angels) "Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!" (Revelation 7:12).

Psalm 84:10

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked."
